Poster Presenters

Poster-Size

  • Poster format: Landscape size A0 horizontal (33.1 inches long x 46.8 inches wide)
  • Your poster board will be numbered by your paper ID from Oxford Abstracts.
  • Materials to pin up your poster will be available on the poster boards.
  • Please do not write on the poster board or damage it with non-dedicated material for mounting the poster.
  • Tables/chairs will not be allowed near the poster area.
  • You will be expected to print and bring your poster with you to the conference. Printing will not be available at the conference.

Poster Format

  • Your poster should have a Title, Author(s) name, Affiliation (to be placed at the top of the poster area, the size of the head letters should be minimum 72).
  • The text letters should be minimum 28 and graph lines should be 1mm minimum.
  • Poster(s) should be readable at a distance of at least 1 meter.
  • Each poster participating in the Best Poster Award must have the following notice in the top right-hand corner in font size 54: Best Poster Award Participant.

General Information

  • The conference language is English, and the posters must also be in English.
  • Posters should be intelligible in themselves, even in the absence of the authors and without a study of the abstract.
  • Please structure your poster as follows:
    • Title, Author(s), Affiliation
    • Introduction: Background Information, Purpose of the study
    • Results and Discussion: An Interpretation of the results and their significance
    • Conclusions
  • You are allowed to put a QR code on your poster board if you wish to share further information or an electronic version of your poster.
  • Posters will be located in Colorado F.
  • Information on the day/time of which poster session you will be presenting can be found here.
  • Posters need to be placed on the boards at least 15 minutes prior to your poster session time, and should be removed immediately after your session concludes

Oral Presenters

Duration

  • Keynote Talks - 30 minutes (including Q&A)
  • Oral Presentations - 20 minutes (including Q&A)

On the Day of your Session

  • Please bring your slides in either PowerPoint or PDF form on a flash drive the morning of your presentation day. You will be able to upload your slides to the presentation laptop in the morning of your presentation day from 7:30-8:30 am. The room to upload your slides will be shared at a later date.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to your session.
  • The moderator will introduce the session and each individual presenter as well as moderate the Q&A for each talk. Please be prepared to answer questions at the conclusion of your talk.

  • You are able to find what session, date, and time you are presenting by visiting the conference virtual platform.
